<p>I took this picture Saturday afternoon and at the time, it seemed things were being contained.  Now, they definitely aren&#8217;t as I saw flames in the hills this morning on my way back from the gym.  The kids don&#8217;t have school since their school isn&#8217;t that far from the fires.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I started reading <a href="http://www.mccainblogette.com/">Meghan McCain&#8217;s blog</a> a little big ago so I found it kind of cool that we did a <a href="http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-meghanmccain23feb23,0,3313938.story">story on it</a>.  </p>
<p>The blog itself is a fun read because it is the epitome of someone not caring about the expected role they are supposed to play.  Whenever you see the children of candidates, they are almost always in a <i>safe</i>  environment away from questions from reporters.  If reporters were to read the blog though, they wouldn&#8217;t find much in terms of thoughts on foreign policy or social issues, instead, they&#8217;d see behind-the-scenes photos of campaign stops and what Meghan&#8217;s latest playlist.  And frankly, I think that&#8217;s a much better thing.</p>

<p>I am still making my way thru the book though, writing Ruby code instead of the Python included.  It&#8217;s helping me in both languages actually.</p>
